Painter and printmaker Fiona Carver creates original artworks inspired by the landscape, life and objects around her.
She is very much inspired by nature, whether that be painting ‘en plein air’ in the fields, or bringing the outdoors inside with her still life set ups of flowers and fruit. She paints everything from life and enjoys the energy this brings to the work which is a nice contrast to the slow planning involved in her linocut prints. Impressionistic in feel, her work is a response to the atmosphere and feeling of that moment.
